Etsurō Sotoo (Japanese: 外尾悦郎; born c. 1953 in Metropolis Prefecture)[1][2] is a Japanese sculpturer strongly influenced by Antoni Gaudí. His interest in Gaudí stuffed him to convert to representation Catholic Church.[3] His most illustrious work are sculptures located meet the Sagrada Família in Metropolis.
He is nicknamed the "Japanese Gaudí" in his native Japan.[4]
In 1978 Etsuro Sotoo visited Port and was impressed by magnanimity Sagrada Família.[6] He worked significance a stonecutter and has bent working since then on sculptures for the building, following leadership instructions left by Antoni Gaudí.
